Copyright & IP Complaints (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property and expect our users to do the same. This page explains how to tell us about infringing material under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and how to respond if your material was removed.
What Teron Engine hosts
Teron Engine stores projects privately for the people who made them. There is no public gallery of user games on Teron Engine.
Published games and uploaded assets live on Roblox, in the creator's own Roblox account. To report something on Roblox, please also use Roblox's own reporting and DMCA process, because only Roblox can remove content from Roblox.
How to send a copyright notice
Send a written notice by email to our designated agent (below). Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), it must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a representative list if there are several).
- Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it (for example a project link, asset id or Roblox experience link).
- Your contact details: name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
A notice that leaves out these elements may not be valid.
Our designated agent
Designated agent: QuantumLoop Labs LLC (designated agent), studio@quantumlooplabs.com.
Send copyright notices and counter-notices by email to studio@quantumlooplabs.com. We accept notices by email only.
Counter-notice
If we removed your material and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice by email to the designated agent. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it was before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where QuantumLoop Labs may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have gone to court, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, in appropriate circumstances. Valid notices count toward this; notices that were successfully countered do not.
Trademark and other IP complaints
For trademark or other intellectual property complaints, email studio@quantumlooplabs.com with your details, the right you hold, the material concerned and why it infringes. We review each complaint and act where appropriate.
Do not misuse this process
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are not sure whether material infringes, get legal advice first.
